Bizihabi

Bizihabi is a programme of the Basque Government that promotes shared living and housing arrangements between older people and young people, creating spaces for intergenerational connection and support. The initiative seeks to prevent unwanted loneliness among older people while also providing young people with an affordable, high-quality temporary housing option. Through these shared living experiences, Bizihabi fosters intergenerational solidarity and highlights the support and care relationships that develop within the home and the community.
