International Presentation and Launch of the Books “Hands That Create and Lull” and “Kuyana Care Manual: Time to Care”

As part of the International Day of Care and Support, PYDLOS-DIEP of the University of Cuenca and Fundación ARTRA will present two publications that bring together action research, art and community-based pedagogy. Hands That Create and Lull brings together images, texts and accounts of creative experiences with Afro-Ecuadorian, Shuar and Kichwa communities in Ecuador. The Kuyana Care Manual: Time to Care offers tools to strengthen self-care, shared family responsibility and community networks in rural and Indigenous territories affected by migration. Together, the two publications contribute to recognising care and sustaining life.
